Happy Birthday Taylor

            Today is a special day, My beautiful daughter Taylor turns 12!!!!
It is hard to believe, just seems like almost yesterday I was holding my 5 lb 14 oz bundle, she was tiny burtperfectly healthy, I am so truly blessed to have experienced this 4 times!!!!
  As a mother of 4 I feel like i get overwhelmed at times, but then I realize as I stare at a house that will take about 5 hours to clean, that I am blessed beyond words to have a mess that takes 5 hours to clean! Because there are some people who can not have children and would be envious of my 5 hour mess, and when I feel myself getting frustrated I stop and say a prayer and thank GOD for all of my children!!!

A Christmas Tornado

 wow so Christmas is over.... But OH MY GOODNESS! I am still cleaning and trying to put all the kids stuff away!!! 

They were truly blessed this holiday, and I hope they know how fortunate they really are!
we had a wonderful time! being with family, and being a family, I am so thankful for my chldren, and Greg, and everyone really!
    To top off the wonderful Christmas Day we shared it snowed!!! Yes a white Christmas in Alabama, of course it didn't stick around long but it was a sight to behold ....
Well thats all the Rambling for today gotta take a trip to the dump and throw out all these boxes

Wonder what it will be like?

          So Christmas is among us again, This is a very special time for the family, what with us having 7 kids and all... but they are growing, so in a few years will the "magic be gone ?...  They will have other parties to attend a couple might be married and starting families and traditions of their own!!!! It is a bitter sweet time of reflection for me, we still have a young one but the rest are growing soooo fast, for instance Kendall will be graduating high school this year!!!! what?!!??!!!... I hope they will all flock home for the holidays with families of their own, and we will continue many of the traditions we have today...Time marches on!!!

    O.k so now it's time to go run some last minute errands!!!

Lunch with the girls!

 Today was a wonderful day! I had lunch with the girls! Although I don't get to see them everyday, it was like I never left, it was fun!

  We also exchanged gifts!

Another cold gloomy day

Hi y'all

   It is saturday another gloomy cold day, I am supposed to go shopping today, but I dont know if I am going.

The fight continues

So the lovely lady who has now begun her fight with breast cancer is my mother... she was just recently diagnosed, The needle biopsy she was supposedto have done was not going to wrk so they wanted her to have a total excision of the tumor, whch then will be sent off to find out what type of tumor it is, then she will decide what course of treatment to persue.

     All this is still sinking in, its kind of surreal, although they has not been a definate diagnoses the doctor and radiologist are pretty sure they know what it is, the scary thing is that it is so close to her lymph node which now has become swollen and painful....

    But I will keep the faith because i know that there is a pretty good success rate of remission for women that have been diagnosed.

 In the wake of Elizabeth Edwards fight with breast cancer, I just wanted to say that someone I love very much will be starting the fight of her life as well, she has not told everyone about her issue so I will post more about her when she is ready for everyone to know, until then I send my love and support and prayers her way. And prayers also to Mrs.Edwards...

Cross Roads

And so it begins,

     I have decided to leave my job of 5 years, one that I absolutely loved mind you!. My co-workers are amazing and I am going to miss being with them everyday! But I have a wonderful family that needs me more, and I have no other choice, my family HAS to come first! It is an easy decision really. But how different things will be! All for the good of course! I will be available for my mother when she needs me, and I will be here when the kids get home from school, and I will be here with Pea, she won't have to have her early years raised by daycare providers, although I know that unfortunately, many mothers have to make the decision to put their babies in daycare, they have no choice, now a days it takes 2 incomes just to be able to make ends meet. I however am truly blessed with a man who will work from sun up to sun down 7 days a week,to provide us with the means so I do not have to work. He has been truly blessed to be able to do his job so wonderfully, and be able without fail to provide a comfortable living for us. I pray that this trend will continue, ... well that is all for now

I have used so many tissues that my nose is super  RED and it really hurts, I am coughing and sneezing, and ughh just feel like  CRAP... but still life goes on and I must go now to the grocery store to get stuff for a meal tonight... Nothing sounds good, and even if  something did, I wouldn't be able to taste it anyway, so I will let the kids choose dinner tonight, hope whatever it is it's quick and easy!!!

Thanksgiving Already?

 Can it be already? Gosh this year has flown by!!! Well I am ready for all the yummy food, but I always make myself super miserable.. ha... I am so Thankful for my awesome family,and my friends... hope everyone has a safe and happy TURKEY DAY :)

Devils Advocate?

     So for those of you that don't anything about me.... I have a wonderful, and handsome husband Greg, four fabulous kids ages 13, 11, 7 and 1.. i am also a stepmother of three just as fabulous boys ages 17 13 and 12.   

     I am and always will be an advocate for in my eyes the most wonderful breed of dog..." THE AMERICAN PITBULL TERRIER" yes I said "PITBULL" I know that will strike alot of you with fear... but let me plead my case before you make judgment...

    I used to be one of those people that bought into the whole media frenzy that pits are nothing more than blood thirsty kid maulers... although there are rare cases when that can be true I suppose... But that all changed one day when my dear hubby brought home a little Chocolate, green eyed, red-nosed game dog ... ARE YOU CRAZY i said....We have children!!!!!!! Get rid of THAT dog....

    It only took one day of looking into those precious green eyes, for me to give it a try. Then it was love...my little green eyed monster turned out to be the key that opened A closed and locked mind.......

20th Anniversary Razors Edge Show Orlando

o.k Grege attended this show with our Grand Champ "Dirty money" we didn't win :(... Alot of people felt like we were robbed!!!! Mind you not only were these comments made by our supporters but by people we don't even know... I of course agree... even though I did not attend I saw pics of the winner, clearly in my opinion not the best choice, But it is what it is... we'll get em next time......
